Who Wins, You Decide!

I've been thinking of changing my Blogger Profile photo ever since Mr J and P decided to use a piccy of my childhood Yogi Bear as his Facebook Profile pic:


So, I've taken a few photos of possible contenders and I'm going to put it to the vote.  Yes, folks, "Who Wins, You Decide!".  How exciting is this!

Well, OK, I admit it.  It's not that exciting.  There has been a dearth of charity shopping and jumbling recently and this is what passes for a blog post in my little world!

So, here are the nominees.  First up has to be Yogi.  He is mine, after all, and he's adorable.



Equally adorable is Rupert the Bear.  



I bought Rupert from a vintage fair in Southwold (Suffolk, east coast) years ago when I was pregnant.  I rather hoped that a child of mine would love him as much as I do, but Little Miss J and P barely recognises its existence.  Never mind, I appreciate him and that's the main thing!

Next up is a rather demented and grubby looking Noddy.  A jumble sale buy of yesteryear.



Lastly is Mr Owlie salt pot.  How cute is he?  (Another jumble sale buy of yesteryear).

    As much as I love Yogi (he's smarter than the average bear after all) I think because he's your husband's profile pic you should choose something different. My vote goes to Owlie. He is very cute and I have a soft spot for things like these...and you are as wise as an owl aren't you Loo?
    I'll be sad to see your current profile pic go though because I think it's lovely x

    Yogi's good, but my vote goes to Noddy - there's just something about his face which I love. It looks like he's done something he really shouldn't have done!!

    Oh this is a hard one! I'd pick Rupert or Noddy. I just bought a Rupert the Bear scooter for my friends 2 year old! It's so cute, it has a light on the front and sounds too!
    I just missed Rupert the Bear by the time I was born so I just got to see re-runs on television. I probably watched Noddy more when I was younger.. so my vote goes to Noddy!

    Oh I love your daughter's drawing, that's how I imagine you now, like a cartoon! But if you must change then Noddy has made me laugh, he has a very mischievous expression.

    I'm torn between them all, you will just have to make a montage, but if not possible, I'm Noddy and Rupert fan. So a coin will have to be tossed......Heads - Noddy, Tails - Rupert!

    My niece loves Noddy and she in California.I buy her all Noddy things whenever I see them at charity shops and boot sales,new ones too.
    I am more partial to Yogi bear grew up watching all the cartoons,especially loved the Christmas Yogi cartoons.

    Rupert The Bear is the best choice because he is always getting into fantastic and magical adventures in faraway lands. He has both animals and human friends, Paul McCartney put him in his video (back in the 80's) and look at him he's flying, waving and smiling; he can multitask!!!!

    I like Owlie best (he/she looks very brainy!), although all four candidates have appeal. Could you not put them up for the next General Election? They look miles better than the last lot we had to chose from :)

    I think it would have to be Noddy - it's the gormless grin that wins it. Although I'm a life-long fan of Rupert so he'd be an excellent choice too.
